And to think we didn’t even pay the kid to say it.
It is rather busy here in the Starlite office this afternoon, but I had to take a quick break to share the high point of my day with you. In addition to getting everything ready for this afternoon’s three Sparkle programs, we’re also working on going through stacks of files, mail, etc. that piled up while all my help was gone during Spring Break.
Lauren, our precious high school intern, just brought one of the letters back to my office for me to see. I thought you might like it too, especially since I left the third grade attempt at grammar intact:
“To: all the twinkle leaders
From: janie
{large red crayon heart here}
turn me over
{large red, purple and blue rainbow here}
you’ve always cheered up Monday’s your all the best your all full of love and your all very pretty.
love,
janie
Interlings, I’ve got to admit that any grammatically incorrect run-on sentence that ends with “your all very pretty” is fine by me. In fact, I may frame this note and put it on the wall.
Better yet, the ceiling above my bed.

Aren’t kid quotes awesome? My favorite that I ever received came from a 5-year-old who was sitting in my lap who had just elbowed me in the stomach: “Mm, Mrs.Brandy, you’re FLUFFY!” Yup. That’s me. All fluffy.
