I will be needing cell phone numbers for every mommy blogger in the event of a hair emergency.

Interlings, it is my sad duty to report that there is no Friday’s Face today as my girls are out of town for Easter.

Of course, had I been on top of things, I could have done it ahead of time… perhaps before they left town.  I have, however, been far too busy to do something like “prepare beforehand.”  I’ve had other, bigger things on my mind.

Interlings, remember MacKenzie, the cute six year old from way too many posts this week?

I am taking care of her for the next three days.  I am not kidding.

This is a massively big deal, my friends.  This is a child.  That is going to be my responsibility.  For three days.

I’ve got all kinds of fun things planned for us to do — we’re going to bake cookies, go to the aquarium, get manicures.  But one question woke me up in the night and I promise you — I couldn’t fall back asleep.

How do I fix her hair this weekend?

Oh my.  I am not prepared for this at all.

OK, this is really SIster Honey Bunch ( http://sistersofadifferentorder.blogspot.com/ NO clue why my other sister’s name is popping or WHY I can’t change it to mine. Weird.

Anyway, I have a boy. I have no clue how I would fix a little girl’s hair. Have fun with that. :)

Relax, girl. Relax. With all the hair products in your bathroom, you KNOW you can handle it! And a hair bow covers an abundance of mistakes.

DO NOT call me in the event of a hair emergency. My grown daughter of the loverly locks still wakes up crying sometimes as she remembers the “new and fun” things I tried with her hair.
I repeat. DO NOT call me. This is not a test.
