Oh do I have a treat for you.
With only one day left ’til the big giveaway, I’m busy mourning the loss of all that good make-up monitoring the contest. So, I have a little video treat for you today!
Now, WAIT. Before you click that red box at the top of the screen and leave the bloggy all by itself, let me be the first to say that I too am one of those people who don’t like to watch videos on people’s blogs. I’m not sure why I’m that way, but alas, I must confess that it just isn’t my thing.
However, this video isn’t just any ‘ol video. It features me and Allison, the only other Starlite staff member. You haven’t heard a lot about Allison yet because she’s finishing up her master’s degree right now and so only works a few hours a week with Starlite. We’re coming at you from my bedroom as we tell a story from a few years ago when we realized that we didn’t have enough money to buy food for Starlite’s programs that week. We were sophomores (juniors?) at the time and boy did we get creative. Gotta get that money somehow, interlings!
Also included in the video is my two puppies barking and my roommate talking on her cell phone. Oh, and the sound quality is pretty horrible. I promise that Allison and I don’t really sound like we’re talking with cotton balls in our mouth all the time.
And with that final explanation, I believe it is time for you to just watch the video for crying out loud.

Dear Quentin Tarentino,
please ask your actors to spit the socks out of their mouths and turn up the lights.
Just kidding! Totally enjoyable video podcast.
