Tax Prep Lady: “I see you filed as a single person last year. Is this correct?”
Me: “Yes.”
Tax Prep Lady: “And will you be filing as a single person again this year?”
Me: “Yes.”
Tax Prep Lady: “Hmm. Interesting.”
Me: “Well, that’s one word for it I guess.”
Presenting… Amy Beth goes to the spa to use a gift certificate!
Spa Lady: “I see that you’re looking at our hair care items.”
Me: “Oh, yes.”
Spa Lady: “Perhaps you’d rather look at our skin care items for people with acne.”
Me: “I, um, don’t have acne. I mean, I did when I was a teen, but I don’t right now.”
Spa Lady: “Well.” (Stares intently at my face.) “You don’t have it… today.”
Presenting… Amy Beth consults her roommate for fashion advice!
Me: “Katie, does this outfit look okay?”
Katie: “Yep. You look really good.”
Me: “Thank you!”
Katie: “You should actually be thanking me for teaching you everything you know.”
Your Tax Prep experience? I lived those conversations for years. People just don’t think before they speak.
I hope this is not all in one day…
bless your heart ab i love you so much, and im so bummed that i have to miss the meeting 2moro night, but maybe we could meet up naxt sunday night and u could tell me about hte lock-in, that is if we dont have a meeting!
