I find it hard to imagine you will care, but oh well.
I’ve been asked to list seven weird random things about me. After the list of 100 things about me, I really don’t have a lot of good material left, but I’ll try to think of seven things I didn’t mention there.
1. I love the idea of being British and (secretly) pretend I am sometimes. For example, when I write in my personal diary, I’ll sometimes write about “my favourite pair of wellies.” Then again, the fact that I write in my diary about my rain boots is pretty weird in itself, huh?
2. Thanksgiving is my favorite (oops, favourite) holiday because we can focus on what it means instead of focusing on gifts. BUT… I’ve only had turkey once in my life. We eat chicken nuggets on Thanksgiving.
3. I can’t believe I’m about to admit this, but I l-o-v-e to watch Shamu on his webcam. Remember how I have a hard time falling asleep at night if I start thinking about the girls we serve through Starlite? Well, if I can’t sleep, I just log on and watch him swim until I’m ready to fall asleep.
4. I — along with several other Starlite leaders — wish we had a reality show called “Making of the Ministry” or something just to record the ridiculous things that happen to us. We are so used to talking about our show that sometimes we say things like “Oh, too bad the cameras didn’t catch that!”
5. I want to fall in love through written words, whether it be emails, letters, text messages, etc.
6. Our town’s local newspaper asked me to write a weekly column about my life while I was in college. And, I did it for a long time until they asked me to start “making it a bit more spicy. Maybe you could start to party a bit? You know, get some wild college stuff in it.” Um… negative.
7. I can say “you are my favorite pencil sharpener” in Spanish. And no, I still don’t know why.

#1 might be my favorite- favourite-weird fact I’ve ever read on any of these! And seriously? Shamu? I’m going to have to check that out.

See? THIS is precisely why I tagged you. Good stuff. And nice and easy for those who couldn’t finish “The 100.”
I still have all my husband’s letters written when we were just getting to know each other.

I love Shamu, but can’t say I watch him regularly or need him to fall asleep. BUT, I have let my little ones watch him when we needed to kill some time

I’m so glad to discover that someone else has a fascination with being British! I don’t pretend I am, but I’ve been known to slip into a British accent. (I actually went to a British school in Lebaon when I was a little girl). I love reading British books…just the cadence of their speech and the way they word things…love it!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday too! AAAAnd… sometimes when I go through a drive-through somewhere, I order in a British accent just because I think it sounds cool (and they would never know the difference)! Who knew we had so much in common?
