I know this post is old, but I just had to comment because I had a “husband journal” too before I got married. I gave it to my husband on our honeymoon… he still reads it even now, four years later. Be assured–you Mr. Right will cherish these thoughts you penned before you knew who he was!

I used to have a similar husband journal but I long since stopped writing in it. Not that there’s anything wrong with the practice, but I found that it made ME discontent. When I’m in “that” place, I do write about it, but in my own journal, between me and God.
