Very important question.

If my bag of Goldfish crackers says that they are both WHOLE WHEAT and made with REAL CHEESE, does that mean that they’re healthy?
More importantly: can I count them for a vegetable serving? Or two?
You can’t blame a girl for trying.
Next up: Sunny Delight. Fruit serving? Protein? ANYTHING?
I have really come to enjoy your daily posts, Amy Beth. You’re just so perky.
I would say that Goldfish crackers are a HEALTHIER choice, but sorry, you can’t count them as a vegetable serving.
Are you on a diet plan of some sort? I’m doing First Place. I have personally come to love cheese because I consider it the “wild card” of the food groups. It can be a meat, or it can be a dairy. Just depends on which group I need to fill. Yep, I love me some cheese!
I’ll say Goldfish crackers are vegetables if you’ll agree with me that chocolate is not only a vegetable but also an amazing “health food.” Chocolate comes from cacao beans. A bean is a vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable. Additionally, most chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food.
See? With enough rationalization, we could make greasy hamburgers “healthy!”
I would say…uh…no.
As for the Sunny D….TOTALLY HEALTHY!
Just lookin out for ya.
Depends on how you look at it. either you eat Goldfish Crackers made with white flour or you eat them with wheat flour (obviously better 4 you)
) then by all means, eat whole wheat Goldfish Crackers!
Wheat flour also has more fiber and other nutrients than white.
If you consider a grilled cheese sandwhich made with wheat bread healthy, (which I do
