I can’t tell you how many times they mention the word “prison” in their calls.
I get a lot of weird calls from my college girls, but Laura’s call from a few minutes ago might be the best one this week (so far).
Me: “Hello?”
Laura: “Okay, I need you to pray I don’t go to prison!”
Me: “WHAT DID YOU DO LAURA?”
Laura: “So, I’m at the gas station filling up my car and then I have to get back in my car but my driver’s side door is broken and so I had to climb through the window on my passenger side door and it totally looked like I was stealing my own car and this guy was watching me and he’s probably going to call the cops!”
I didn’t think to ask her this at the time, but I wonder why she didn’t just use the passenger side door to get in?

There is nothing wrong with going to prison. Think of the opportunity to minister!

I… I love it. I know way too many people (ahem, myself included) who’d try the window first!
