For the record, I would like to defend myself here. It is true that I do enjoy the house set at 65 during all times of the year, especially since heat is so expensive. But I would like everyone to know that I have not adjusted the thermostat for at least a month. And since the weather outside is cooling off considerably, the temperature inside is doing the same. Also, AB was the only one wearing a thermal vest, gloves and scarf yesterday – so who is the odd one now? I refuse to blame my pregnancy – it’s the norm people! I feel better already.

I’m going to be in major trouble when I am pregnant some day. Cuz I’m always hot already, and it will only go down hill.

I would like to tell you that you can defrost after the baby is born, but if she breastfeeds, it will only get worse. My home is an igloo and I am typically cold natured.

So… the VERY BEST THING about giving birth in the hospital is those heated blankets! Don’t hesitate to ask for some for yourself, AB. Th nurses are usually very kind to share them. =)

Don’t listen to them/\. 65 is COLD for inside a house. Fine for out of doors but good heavens people inside a SHELTER… it should be comfortable.
Granted, I would have made a lousy pioneer. So glad I reside in modern America with my steam heat radiator!!

Now… knowing Roomie is pregnant, I’ll give her a pass.

My grandmother is the exact opposite. She keeps it at 85 in the summer months and even warmer in the colder months. We practically are roasted when we go to her house. We keep it 70 at our house…

I keep my house at 67 during the day (Fall & Winter) & 65 at night.

My hubs froze in the delivery room. It is even colder in there. Bring a very warm sweatshirt, sweatpants & even a hat. My hubs’ bald head froze so bad, he wrapped his extra sweatshirt around his head. Seriously.

65 sounds good to me! A little warm actually for fall/winter. I usually keep my heat at 60. The whole point of these seasons is curling up under tons of blankets with hot cocoa/cider/tea to read a good book.

ooo sister, think of all the money you’re saving on heating bills right now that can be used for diapers at a later date!
