May I have your attention please?

November14

I would just like to inform you that I have just been spit up on for the first time!

IT WAS AWESOME!

Seriously, you don’t know the joy it brought to my heart.  I’ve been waiting for this for months.

Also: if you haven’t read through the comments on today’s giveaway post, you should.  Let’s just say that the majority of you are leaning towards Is That All He Thinks About? which my virgin eyes can only assume deals with adult-like behavior such as holding hands and walks in the park.

At least that’s what I’m hoping since that’s the one my mom entered to win.

I think I’d rather eat PNC than get spit up on…but then again…I do have nacho cheese issues…

Oh my word, Amy Beth! I LOVE YOUR MOM! If she doesn’t win, I’ll send her a copy of Is That All? anyway. I’ll even inscribe it:

    Mom B.,
Wishing you many blessings in bed!
    Love, Marla

Sorry if you need to close your eyes, put your fingers in your ears and hum. :)

Oh no, my friend. “Is That All He Thinks About?” delves much deeper than holding hands and walks in the park. You’ll just have to wait until Mr. Right comes along, and then your mom can loan you her copy.

YAY!!!!! Go Baby!!! Are you keeping a “My first” book? My mom has one of Brian, and it is neat to go back and look at all that, of course it is only for the first couple of years of his life. lol.

Word of advice: (when he gets older) do not hold him over your head right after he eats. That’s a good way to end up with spit up in your eye.

I don’t mind spit up… smelling like it makes me feel like a mom. But, in my eye, not so fun. (I was sitting down when I held the baby over my head… so for those of you panicking, I was very safe!)

PS– you may recall that way back when you posted on weight loss I said I had also been working on that and I was going to post on it. Well, a few weeks later, I finally wrote about it. I ended up making it a series on healthy living (not just weight loss). Today is an intro of sorts, but tomorrow I’m posting on eating habits and weight loss. I may post later on specific food ideas… we’ll see :)

    alright girlfriend.
i realize that you have many more important things in your life than submitting to reader request topics, but can i submit one anyway? i’ve always been a long haired gal, but i just recently cut it all off & got a highlights (a first for me- i was a highlight virgin!) and I LOVED it when I left the salon, because she of course, styled it for me. But NOW I have to figure out how to add all of that beautiful volume on my own & I am just STRUGGLIN’!

So I was thinking…who do I know who has fantastic hair that can help me? AMYBETH!! So when & if you get the chance, I think you should do a tutorial. I know you’ve written about your hair products before- but can you take us step by step? (Or point me to a link if I missed it!?) OR- you could do an “AmyBeth How-To Video” which would be even MORE awesome!! :)

    Just throwing it out there.
I mean, come on, could you HAVE any more time on your hands? ;)

Yay for spit up. One of life’s many joys. Though it doesn’t rank up there with hand holding in the park…
