Surprise giveaway!

Baby and his mama are now home and, to celebrate the fact that I almost fell off the bed when Baby started crying last night, let’s have a little contest, shall we?

The lovely Marla Taviano, author of Changing Your World One Diaper At A Time (as well as several other great books) is helping celebrate Baby’s birth by giving away two copies of any of her books (your choice!). All you have to do is go here, figure out which book you’d like to win, and come back to tell me about it. I’ll close the contest tonight at midnight and announce two randomly selected winners over the weekend.

The funny thing about Marla’s books is that I was expecting to read her one about being a bride long before I read the one about changing diapers.

Life sometimes gets a bit out of the order you expected, doesn’t it?

So glad everyone is home!

I would like to win “Is That All He Thinks About” because, well, do I really have to tell you why? I think you can pretty much figure out why…

Well….I’m not expecting, my kids are several years out of diapers, and it’s been 17 years since I was a blushing bride but I do have sex with my husband so by process of elimination I would have to choose, “Is That All He Thinks About” even though I already know the answer to the question.(Yes, it is!).

I’m most interested in “Changing Your World One Diaper At A Time” – as I’m expecting my own little one in January!

I’m thrilled that everyone is home now and I will continue to have all 3 of you in my prayers. I’m gonna have to go with the crowd here and say that “Is That All He Thinks About” is the only book that would apply to my life right now. Both of my children are way out of diapers (8 & 11)…but we have been trying to get pregnant again without luck. So, I don’t think I will need the “Changing Your World One Diaper At A Time” just yet.

I know my husband would appreicate it if I got “Is that all he Thinks About?”

Glad Roomie and Baby are home, I hope he’ll sleep well for you guys (p.s. Don’t be surprised if he sleeps well now and then starts waking up more in a few days. I remember thinking we had a “sleeper” and then finding out later we didn’t.)

With my husband and I approaching our divine 7th year of marriage (Dec.) and with three children and a dog keeping us pretty busy, I think refreshing your marriage point of view is extremely important. We do our best to make time for one another, however many times we need to be reminded to do that. Reading, attending conferences, seeking Christian couples for counsel, etc., opens our eyes to HOW to do that.

I would love “Is That All He Thinks About?”

Happy Reading Everyone!!

I thought I would want the books about babies since I had my first baby in January (Emma’s nearly 10 months old now … wow), but after reading some of the .pdf excerpts, I DEFINITELY would LOVE to read more of Is That All He Thinks About? At first, I was a bit shy to think of posting this as my truthful answer, but then after seeing how many comments were left about that book, I feel so much better that I’m not alone in this constant quest!

So happy for you and Roomie … last week I was checking your page like every couple hours to see if there was a baby yet. :) Take care and get as much rest as you can, whenever you can!

I have to go for “Changing Your World… One Diaper At A Time” simply because that title seems to sum up my everyday living right now. And I like the way that phrase makes my diaper-changing, baby-rocking, boo-boo-kissin’ days seem like they are really making a difference. :)
