I wish I had an elf costume to wear today.
November17
Christmas bells are ringing in the Starlite office today as we get ready to throw 4 (FOUR!!!) simultaneous end=of-the-year parties in our elementary school programs this afternoon. In the last 18 hours, we’ve gone through over 1,000+ yards of wrapping paper, 19 rolls of tape and, at last count, 7 spools of ribbon. And the incredible part?
We’re not even done yet.
Be back tonight, tomorrow, NEXT YEAR with a real post. For now, I’ve got to pretend to be an elf.
Which, in modern times, amounts to running to Wal-Mart to buy more tape.
is your email still down?? I so need to get in touch with you about some “elf” stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ASAP!!!
Ho-ho-ho.
Here’s a cup of virtual Sunny-D. Sounds like you’re going to need it.
Hope you all have a fun day! The girls are so fortunate to have this program.
When I was younger (10ish), my church had a clown ministry (weird, I know). I was an elf. It took 2 adults 15 minutes to get my pointy rubber shoes on my feet. And don’t even get me started on how much it hurt when I had to rip my pointy glued-on ears off.
Don’t do it!
oh gosh. that is a lot of work… and it will amount to a lot of happy little girls!!! have the best day with them!
Hey, just wanted to say that I had to google you just to tell you I miss your comments on the Boo\Big Mama’s blogs. Glad to see you are still happily in full swing.
Keep up the good work!
