I could go ahead and book a singlemoon.

November18

Me, yelling across the office: “Krystal!  Good news!!!”

Krystal, office volunteer: “What?”

Me: “I found where I’m going on my honeymoon!”

Krystal: “Um, really?”

Me: “Yep!  I’m going to the Atlantis hotel in the Bahamas.  Somebody just told me about their dolphin exhibit.”

Krystal: “Well… I guess that’s nice.”

Me: “I know I don’t have a groom yet, but I’m just trying to plan ahead.”

Krystal: “Um…”

Me: “I mean, it isn’t like I’m going to be single forever!”

Krystal: Silence.

Me: “I mean, I will get married eventually…”

Krystal: Silence.

Me: “Right?  Don’t you think so?”

Krystal: Silence.

Me: “Krystal!”

Krystal: “Oh, were you still talking to me?”

I’ve been there. And let me tell you, it was fantastic. Of course I didn’t stay there, but the pools are so nice, I’d pay to camp out there. And the aquarium is amazing. Oh yes ma’am. I’m ready to drop everything in a moment’s notice if you want to jet away!

Sorry Amy Beth I got distracted with tying all that ribbon and trying to make it curl just right. Of course you are not going to be single all you life and I think that is a perfect honeymoon!

I’ve been to Atlantis…I didn’t see the dolphins but they do have a stellar aquarium in the lobby…

If it helps to have options, check out the Hilton Waikoloa. We went there a few years ago (and we’re going back in January; this is the only time it’s nice to have a husband who’s a frequent traveler), and they have a huge dolphin exhibit.

Oh! Wait! This is the Internet! I could insert a <a href=”http://www.hiltonwaikoloavillage.com/activities/dolphin-quest.asp”link!
