Let’s play fair, shall we?

December16

I am having THE BEST TIME reading through your blogs!  From the bottom of my heart, thank you for rescuing me from another afternoon spent watching 7th Heaven reruns, also known as One Of The Most Ridiculous Shows I’ve Ever Watched.

Since y’all were so nice to share your links with me, I want to give you a few of my own that I’ve discovered over the last few months that I think you might like:

1. You Just Read My Mind… written by “Miss P.” this is my favorite blog of the moment.  She’s around my age and is a teacher in South Africa.  We tease each other that we’re sisters from another mister because our blogs are so similar at times, especially when it comes to dating.  If that wasn’t enough, she titles every blog post with lyrics from a song.  I so want to be her.

2. These Are The Days is written by Jenna, a girl my age as well.  She is the kind of funny I wish I could be!  She’s a recent college graduate who has been trying to figure out what to do with her life.  Needless to say, I relate to just about everything she has to say.

3. My12Hats is written by a real-life friend, Brandy.  We were suitemates our freshman year of college and have been friends ever since even though we’re a state away from each other.  That’s about to change in a few weeks when the distance grows a bit wider as Brandy, with her husband, daughter and baby on the way (!) are moving to South Korea.

4. Ali’s African Adventures is written by sweet Ali, a girl around my age who has been serving as a nurse on a ship that helps disadvantaged children.  The ship just left the port it’s been at for awhile, so Ali is experiencing a lot of conflicting emotions right now, something I obviously identify with myself.

Hope you enjoy checking these girls out!

Amy Beth — Thank you for the comment on my blog. I’m glad I could help you pass the day. Yes, it’s cold up here. I could do without it. Here’s what I wrote tonight

…and I sorta mentioned you, but didn’t link or mention your name since I didn’t ask you permission. But read this cuz it’s really crazy!

Wish I could be warm in your 50 degree weather! :)

    Hey thanks AB!

Here I was feeling all seasick and sorry for myself, and then bam. What a great pick-me-up. I’m off to go rewrite a blog entry before I post it, because I don’t feel so rotten anymore. =)
