It will be a true Christmas miracle if anyone actually shows up to watch us again.

December18

I ventured out to the Starlite office yesterday afternoon with the intention of wrapping up (quite literally) some final ’08 projects. We’re technically closed for the rest of the year, but there’s still a stack of emails as well as two or three “office projects” calling my name. Anna and Nina, two of my college girls, offered to come in as well.

And so, naturally, we decided to broadcast our afternoon in the office live via this little bloggy.

Since it was a last minute decision, you probably didn’t see the posts about it (taken down now) unless you just happened to be on the blog while we were “live.” The idea was that we’d just let people (should there be people that actually cared) “watch” us get our junk done, mainly the wrapping of 120 gifts that are set to go out of the office to a children’s home this Friday.

What actually happened, of course, was quite a different story.

We proceeded to sit in front of the camera and talk to the blog readers that were watching for THREE AND A HALF HOURS. We chatted, we gave virtual tours of the office and — I’m sorry to report — even danced to our favorite elementary school songs.

It was as horrifying as you would imagine.

We are, however, absolutely addicted to it now and have decided that we’re going to live broadcast today’s (Thursday) office adventures as well. Our camera will go live around 10 a.m. EST right here on the blog (you will see it as the most current post). Unlike yesterday’s broadcast, we’re going to actually get some work done today — namely wrapping, emailing and cleaning out the office to make room for ’09!

Should you be bored enough to actually want to watch, we’d love to have you check in throughout the morning and — possibly — the early afternoon. I’m not sure how long the camera will be live, but feel free to drop in and make fun of us at any available slot in your schedule.

After all, we’re just here to serve.

I had read about your live feed yesterday, but I think I was napping during that time. =) I just didn’t know it would be as entertaining as all that with dancing and all, so maybe I’ll just have to pop on over there today and check out whatever you’re doing. Sorry I missed all that.

I suggested this yesterday. I felt bad y’all weren’t getting any work done. So glad you decided to try again!

AB, My husband and I enjoyed your show for almost an hour tonight. Then we went shopping and when we came back my husband said… “Do you think they are still wrapping gifts?”

We came back to the site and found that your show was over. (boo hoo) Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it. Keep up the great work and thanks for allowing us to be part of your world!
