In case you’ve been wondering how my quest towards fitting in that little black bridesmaid dress is going, I present a text message conversation between myself and the very bride-to-be from earlier today. We were discussing what time we wanted to meet up at the gym this evening when the talk turned to food:
Me: “I really wanted McD’s for lunch today. Instead I’m having grilled chicken, green beans and whole wheat toast WITH NO BUTTER. I don’t even recognize myself anymore.”
Katie: “Oh my gosh… there must be something in the air because I turned down a free Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuit this morning!!!”
good job!!!!! i keep finding things to do besides go to the gym. every day i DON’T go makes it easier not to. i need to get my (expanding) hiney there this very evening! i have been organizing my office this morning, which makes me want to get my (seriously it’s just going to grow if i don’t work out) butt in gear in every other area of my life. thanks for the kick in the (hopefully smaller soon) pants, ab!
