Daily Peek: We’re going to need the flip flops.
I had only been at ye olde elementary school for about three minutes when I realized it simply wasn’t going to be a good day for high heels. But then again, when is a good day for high heels when you’re hanging with a bunch of little girls on a sugar high?

Maybe you know the answer to this…but when is a good time to wear heels? I am actually trying to practice even walking in them, because I kinda suck at being an adult, and I really want to succeed at that (the adult thing – not the heels)…okay, both actually. But I can’t seem to figure it out, let alone know when I am supposed to wear heels because most of the time I feel stupid and then I fall over and then husband laughs and then lots and lots of shame. So what am I supposed to do, because seriously, I have the opportunity to go buy some cute shoes in a month and I don’t want to blow it. Dang.

Oh but at least they’re cute!
My heel philosophy is: wear then in the morning, and get many compliments on the cuteness of your shoes with your outfit. Sit at your desk alllllll day. If you have to take too many trips to the copier, taken of your cute heels and go barefoot.
You get to be cute in the morning, AND your feet don’t feel like they’re going to fall off by the end of the day.

This “peek” made me laugh. Ah, how I remember the days when CUTE and fasionable footwear took priority over comfort and practicality. Once you get to be really old – like me – you will realize the error of your ways and arrive wearing darling, cute, and fashionable… flats!
Love you, girl!
