God has been showing me the exact same thing. Sometimes I get really impatient and wonder why things haven’t happened yet but then I have to repeat over and over to myself, “Love is patient, Love is patient, Love is patient…”
and that’s why it never fails.
Sometimes I forget that.

I also enjoy Psalm 73:25-26, “Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

I think I’m making it my life verse because I make so many other things my portion, my longing. I desire to long for God alone, and I have to keep coming back to these verses repeatedly.

Waiting is sometimes so hard for me. This verse is an awesome reminder that I can do that, because He is enough. I’m going to go copy that verse down!

What great thoughts….reminded me of two things that I am constantly working on:

–ACTIVELY waiting; Hannah did this when she was waiting on the birth of her son, Samuel

–Our God is ENOUGH…in EVERY situation.

i love your sweet heart AB.
have you ever read the book, “Do You Think I’m Beautiful?” i may have mentioned it to you before, but it’s a must read and deals so much with accepting the love of God as a woman. One of my all time favorites.
Remember that you’re worth the wait. And it’s incredible having all of this alone time with hthe Lord. I hope you’re soaking it up. I think we all daydream about what life will be like when we’re settled with a family, but I love that God is blessing me with the resting period. I think it’s beautiful.
