R is for random.

In no apparent order:

1. Wee little Cuddles didn’t enjoy his annual shots yesterday and spent most of the night crying from underneath my bed which translates to: Amy Beth spent most of the night laying halfway underneath her bed, trying to figure out how to help her wee little puppy stop crying.  I don’t write about the puppies a lot, but I sure do love those two little punks more than I could ever explain to y’all.

2. Marisa begins the move-in process today.  I won’t be able to help until tonight, but I’m all messed up about it already, actually making lists of things I need to tell her like how you never open your door to a stranger, how she needs to keep her windows locked at all times, etc.  I’m thinking about calling her dad in a bit to see if he wants to combine our lists as I’m sure he’s creating one of his own.

3. I’m heading up Katie’s first bridal shower which is taking place this Sunday.  It’s a very, very large shower and I want it to be perfect for her and HOW DO I KNOW IF I’VE ORDERED ENOUGH CUPCAKES?

4. I’m getting my hair cut this weekend and currently debating how much to get cut off.  Obvs, you can imagine the pressure.

5. Today is my friend P’s 27th birthday.  I don’t have a lot of guy friends on purpose, but he’s at the top of the list of the ones I do have mainly because there’s rarely a day that goes by that I don’t get a funny text or phone call from him.  Example: a couple of nights ago he called to tell me about this show he was watching about “noodling” which is, apparently, the process of fishing by inserting your hands into catfish holes and waiting for the catfish to bite your fingers at which point you pull them out and TA-DA, DINNER IS SERVED.  I mean, how do you not pass along information like that to your closest friends?  Happy Birthday, P, and thank you again for being the one male reader of this hot pink blog.

6. Yesterday I fell up some stairs.  No one saw, but I just felt like I needed to tell you.

I hope Cuddles is feeling better soon! :) Isn’t it funny how attached we become to those cute little furry creatures?!?!

And thanks for the giggles… your #6 made me do just that. I did that twice on Sunday..once at church no less! LOL

Lets just say coordination is not my strong point..lol

Poor Cuddles.

I love that you ordered cupcakes! How fun!!!

I’m also glad to know I’m not the only one who falls up stairs.

I’m not a vet…nor have I played one on TV…but I’d make a quickie call to your vet and ask about the crying…

Oh please! I fall upstairs all the time! Falling DOWN is for mere amateurs!

Falling up the stairs isn’t really good until you do it in front of a date. Then it’s REALLY cool. Right up there with neon leg-warmers.

“This picture hangs on my wall as a reminder to choose wisely in this season of singleness since I’m not just choosing for myself.”

So wise and so true.

I fell up the stairs in my apartment building yesterday. Made it up 2 whole flights successfully and then 3 steps from my destination – totally biffed it.
The girl walking behind me checked to make sure I was okay (I was) and then reassured me, “Don’t worry, I just face planted in the parking lot while getting out of my car.”
And you know what? It DID make me feel better :)

Another safety tip for the single girls: Make your address a PO Box and never give your real address to anyone.

Please post pics after the big hair cut/decision!

Poor little puppy. I always feel so helpless when my pup’s hurt/upset.

Have fun with your haircut! I absolutely LOVE getting my hair cut.

I’ve fallen up stairs before… yesterday I also fell over while standing still. Of course I was on skis, but still… While on said skis I also managed to ski into too deep snow which stopped me quite abruptly so that I did a forward bend and planted my head in the snow bank. Fortunately it didn’t hurt as I wasn’t going too fast, unfortunately some other skiers saw it!
