Daily Peek: Childhood dream revisited.

April6

When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a teacher.  One of my parents worked in administration at my school, so I had quite a bit of time to roam the nearly-empty school after the bell rang each afternoon.  I always found myself in a classroom, standing in front of all those empty desks, piece of chalk in hand.

I gave a presentation today and the nature of the material forced me to present it in a “teaching” style.  I got to the classroom a good half-hour early to prepare, of course.

Or maybe it was just to pretend like I was eight years old again.
