My very own Green Giant.
Well, I’m still having trouble with the photos and I’m super busy, so I guess we’ll push the post about Hawaii Amy Beth off yet another day.
HOWEVER, to offset your sadness, I offer up a video Cousin Cate and I made for you the other night when we snuck into a gated park where we most certainly were not allowed to be. I think this may very well be my all-time favorite video of us together, simply because it’s an actual conversation that we were having, not something we just put together for y’all. In my opinion, the funniest part of the video is in the middle when Cate starts talking about wanting to be married. It’s honestly like someone just recorded us having the same conversation we have together each and every night occasionally.
Enjoy. Trust me, you will.

Oh my lord, I CANNOT wait to meet the men who complement your delightful southern hilarity. They will be incredible for sure. And you do both realize they will have to go through a ridiculously thorough interview with me first, right?
Ok, just checkin’…

I love the hissing HURRY at the end – made me LOL (and that doesn’t usually happen when I’m alone with my laptop!)

O my, this is so so funny!
I recently found your blog and I love it! I love how y’all talk so freely about wanting to be married. As a single 20 year old, I feel like the oddball around here because I am the only on that does that.
my totally favorite part of the video was, “Godspeed husband . . . Godspeed.”
O my, totally dying laughing over that part. It is definitely going in the quote book

Oh my heck.. you’re 22 – you’re so young, just relax for a minute – my hubby is coming first!!
I turn 39 next month – so just hold your breath, I got next!!!
And, I can see it’s going to take a really spectacular man to deserve either one of you… let God work on ‘em some more!
You girls are really funny!

So… it obviously depends on where one lives, because 22?! Most people I know get married at around 28 or something.
It’s ok to want to be married, but please don’t let it be your nr.1 focus. If you want a house and a puppy, go and do that! Don’t wait for those things until you meet someone!
And you seem so sure that you’re getting married, but what if God has something else in mind for you? Please let HIM fill your life with the plans He has for you, marriage or not.
The disappointment will just be so huge when marriage is not what He has in mind for you, so I’d say: keep it open, don’t assume you’re getting married, give your desires to God and let Him decide what’s best for you.

I love this!
Did cousin Cate say that her future husband will wear a yarmulke? Or did I totally misunderstand? If so, Mazel Tov!!
