Daily Peek: With a dollop of honey, please.
I (unexpectedly) had the day off from work today, so after going to the Memorial Day event downtown, I headed to a corner table at Panera to work on some writing, blog emails, Starlite work, etc. for the next six hours (with a nice little break when my friend Tyler — who is so funny — showed up at the table next to me)! I wasn’t too hungry, so I just had a plain bagel with some honey and butter on it. I’m not going to lie: I love to put honey on things, simply because it lets me pretend like I’m British.
Of course, I had caffeine-free Diet Pepsi with it, which isn’t exactly a “spot ‘o tea,” but really, you can’t be totally British when you’re as southern as I am. And, as Tyler and I were discussing over our late afternoon snack, you really can’t go wrong with southern belles, now can you?

Hey, Heather!
You’re sweet.
I’m actually going to write a bit more about this soon; I have a very funny story from getting the dress altered to tell y’all at some point this week. Thank you for asking about it!

Loved your “BRAVE” post. Really touching. Love Panera too. I would love to go sit somewhere alone for 6 hours!! But, four kids don’t really allow for that, some day… On a totally different note, just wondering how your bridesmaids dress turned out. I know you were blogging about it for a while with the whole work out thing. And I am not asking to make ugly comments or with a judgemental attitude. I need to loose some pounds and wish I was doing something like you are
Have a happy week!
