A quick run home to put on a cute shirt…

And throw on my favorite pair of jeans…

I had to grab a little something to keep me awake for the two hour drive…

And, of course, a little birthday card…

All equals one very excited (and very surprised!) birthday girl!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: can you believe that’s what my grandmother looks like? Some of those genes better be in my bloodstream, by goodness.

P.S. – She read yesterday’s post and said I’m totally still in the will, so great news, right?

    happy 29th, josie! (my grandma says every birthday is her 29th… she said it got a little weird when her first grandchild turned thirty, but she keeps sticking with it! :) )

    What a great surprise! :) Never think twice about going to see her. My grandmother’s been gone for 3 years now and I still miss her EVERY day. Treasure each moment and soak it in. And she is very beautiful!! You are too. :)
