I love your hair… and I think you are gorgeous. Its about time we get to see all of your face….
Anywhoo, I have very fine (can’t grow it longer than 5 inches because nothing can keep it up fine)… but I am all about the big hair. Mostly because my head is really small so I need big hair to make it look like it is actually in proportion to my body… but, I make big hair with my short hair and I love it… but, if I’ve gone a little too long without a haircut I get a little worried on windy days because my cute flippy wings just might get caught by the breeze and carry me away!

Oh Amy Beth! Can I be your new BFF? Thanks for the reassurance re: my single status. Beth’s comment about the West Coast leaving big hair in the 1980s has made me a little nervous, so I will definitely proceed with caution. But I’m officially intrigued by Big Hair. I’m just psyching myself up to get some velcro rollers, and then we’ll see if I can truly pull off Big Hair in California. I’ll keep you posted …

I’m with Janelle – I always thought big hair was supposed to be left in the 1980s. I’m from the west coast, too, so I’m thinking big hair might be a midwest/southern thing. Proceed with caution, Janelle.

I know we are moving on from the Big Hair posts and all, but I’m a day behind- just a little sleep deprived from a new baby in the house. Which brings me to my point regarding this matter. I used to have great hair. Could go straight, could go curly…definitely big and thick. (BTW- I’m game for the thick hair duel. I might just win) Anyway, back to my point. Giving birth. i.e.- epidural. Changed my hair DRASTICALLY! My first hair appointment after having my 6 year old, I sat in the chair and watched in horror as my beautician said, “Holly, something has gone terribly wrong with your hair!” Now, thanks to child birth- it’s frizzy and unruly. Constantly. Good thing these girls of mine are so cute. ‘Cause I’m just saying that the waistline isn’t always the only thing to go after giving birth! As a matter of fact- I have an appointment Friday for a chemical straightener- just so that my HEAD OF HAIR can fit through an average size door way. I kid you not.

And BTW- you do have amazing hair! Gorgeous!
