Be glad I ran out of animal names that rhymed or this boring post would have continued for at least three more paragraphs.

So.

For some reason, I don’t feel like writing lately which is really weird because I actually have a couple of stories from last weekend I wanted to tell you about, especially because one of them involves me telling you how I actually fixed food for a group of people and it was edible and they even said “we should do this again” which never happens when I cook for people.

But.

I just don’t feel like writing. Strange, right? Especially since I have like four really deep posts rolling around in my mind, too. But whenever I sit down to write them for you, I can’t get anything onto the screen. Nothing is wrong; just oddly introspective this week. Like, falling asleep listening to “You” by Switchfoot on repeat. And sitting on the couch watching Snuggles y Cuddles fall asleep in the windowsill while it rains. And writing in my diary for an hour at night, just because I can.

So, basically, I’ve got a lot for you but I’ve got nothing for you, too. I’m just doing life. Failed my first math exam yesterday; wrote a little rhyme for the professor on the top of the exam about needing a math hero so I won’t keep scoring a zero. Got a perfect score on my first Education paper; the professor wrote “Exemplary response and beautifully written!” and gave me a sticker, too.

Life’s like that sometimes, isn’t it? Sometimes you miserably fail at something and, four hours later, you’re sitting in a different classroom finding out that you made a perfect score at something else.

See ya later, alligators.

After while, crocodiles.

See you soon, baboons.

Glad to see that you are maintaining balance in your life. Good score with bad score. Less public writing, more private writing. Time with your puppies and with people, etc.

I think that when you’ve got a blog that sometimes one feels obligated to post daily. That’s what stopped me from doing my own for so long. There is so much going on in anyone’s life at one time that it is impossible at times to post everyday. You know? I did start my own blog but don’t post often I’ve tried not to restrict myself. People will still stop here and read even if you don’t post everyday- don’t let the pressure of posting get to you… XOXOXO

Bye, bye sugar-pie!

I know how much ministry means to you–both formal and informal–but being in ministry myself, I know how nice it is to have a period of time where you can just be you and enjoy the life God has given. Even if it includes an F and an A+++–it’s good you keep things in perspective. Be blessed today. By the way, I just wanted to add that I know you minister to countless people every day in ways you may not even realize (even serving good or bad food-ha!). You are that kind of girl–precious–and I mean that word in it’s best context!

Amy Beth I feel that you are spending way too much time with your ‘real’ friends, who are mostly boys, now and are harmfully neglecting your internet estrogen possie (Except for that Ben guy up there he always comments… what’s the deal with that?)

Totally kidding. Hope life is good, you’re having loads of fun and you are content to just be :)

Yeah, I had a day like that at school once. I completely flunked an exam in one professor’s class and made a 100 on an exam in another class.

Way to go on the education paper! I’ve commented a few times before, but not too frequently – love to read the blog though! :)

Just wanted to give you some encouragement for your educational studies… I’m not sure what your focus area is (elementary, middle, high, secondary), but I just started my first year teaching 2nd grade in a low-income community about a month ago. It has been, by far, the most stressful month of my life, BUT, I have never been more reliant on God. He is teaching me SO MUCH through this job! Education is tough at any level, but I get the feeling you’ll be great in any capacity you serve in! Way to go! Keep up this good work! This world needs more dedicated teachers! :)
