So, I know I promised aquarium pictures today but, alas, I cannot deliver on that promise because I haven’t even sorted through the pictures yet, much less edited them.  Nor do I have time this morning to tell you about how, when we went to the Sturgeon Encounter display where you get to pet sturgeon as they swim around a small enclosure, Aviean took the word “encounter” to a whole new level when she placed a large portion of her upper body — including her hair and chest — in the sturgeon tank whilst I lunged for her yet a moment too late.

I actually don’t have time to write a post this morning because I decided to sleep a few extra minutes rather than write (I sold you out for the sleep, please forgive me, I have a small child in my care who is currently hugging my right leg underneath the kitchen table), so I can only offer you these four things this morning, three of which are announcements I need to make and one of which is just to make your Tuesday that much brighter.

1. This is really awkward, but I have to say it: I want to be your Facebook friend but please, please do not go through my friends list and add my college girls, family members, etc. as your friends on Facebook.  I’m sorry.  I had to be direct and just say it.  It’s happening more and more and some of them feel uncomfortable because they don’t want to deny the requests but they only want to be friends with people they actually know.  It’s only happening with a few people but, after hearing about more of it last night, I had to say something.  Ugh.

2. This will soften that blow:

3. NORTH CAROLINA, I AM COMING YOUR WAY VERY SOON.  In three weekends, I’m coming to do photo shoots for four North Carolina families (March 19 – 21).  I have three slots left open.  I’ll be in the Hickory, NC and Lenoir, NC areas, but I can travel within a couple of hours of those areas.  If you’re interested, please email me at amybethbullard AT gmail DOT com because I’m making my travel plans this week.

4. TEXAS.  I am coming YOUR way and am bringing my big hair with me.  I have nine families from the Dallas / Ft. Worth and Houston area that are interested in doing photographs sometime this year.  I’m going to start making those travel plans very quickly so, if you’re at all interested, I need you on the email list so I can check dates with you.  Also, Texas: I think we need a blog meet-up in one or both of those areas so, even if you aren’t interested in pictures, maybe you can get interested in sharing some chips and salsa with me (I don’t even eat salsa, so you will have a lot for yourself).  Email me, pretty please: amybethbullard AT gmail DOT com.
