Last week, while I had MacKenzie, Angelina and Aviean with me,

I invited my college girls over

– and Gosling, too –

to have dinner and make smores.

Of course, we played a little Wii bowling

while we waited for the sun to go down.

Cassidy, thank you for introducing me to that Matt Nathanson cd.

I love it and I love your plaid shirt and brown glasses, too.

Then there were some sweet gymnastics moves

shown off on the kitchen floor.

Oh yes, we make smores while wearing our tutus.

Doesn’t everyone?

For my college girls, when you look at this picture, I need you to say one thing in your mind:

There is very little I like more than having inside jokes with my college girls.

Sometimes, they text me words from our jokes and I think “Yep, I’m loved.”

After the college girls left and the little girls fell asleep,

Gosling and I had some frozen lemonade and a good talk about life.

It was a good night.
