Best day with you.
“I don’t know why all the trees change in the fall,
but I know you’re not scared of anything at all.
Don’t know if Snow White’s house is near or far away
but I know I had the best day with you today.
And I don’t know if you knew,
so I’m taking this chance to say
that I had the best day with you today.
And I don’t know if you knew
so I’m taking this chance to say
that I had the best day
with you today.”
The Best Day, Taylor Swift

You all made every day I had with you the best day.

I pray that some day, when you’re spending Mother’s Day with your own children (however they might join your family), you will only remember the joyous moments with those eight souls whose lives you touched.
Happy Mother’s Day, Amy Beth. You have such a huge heart.

You have such a mother’s heart. Those children were so blessed to have you play such an important role in their lives. It has been a pleasure to read about the opportunities and love they were given while in your care.

I woke up today feeling very very sorry for myself. And then I thought of you. Of the grace you modeled during your adventures with the fab five and the foster children. I thought of the faith and patience that brought Paul to you. I prayed for you right along with my selfish pleas- a prayer of thanksgiving and hope.
I was so hoping I’d see you here today.
I needed your spirit.
Thank you.
