Oh So Right Now!

Author Nancy Kennedy emailed me to let me know she reads my blog and asked if she could send me one of her newest books, Girl On A Swing. Considering I already had her previous book, Lipstick Grace, on my shelf, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. The book is wonderful, especially for single girls. You’ll love it.

If this isn’t the most darling music video out there then, well, I just don’t know what is.
10.14.09
Gavin (and his sister Madi) are getting a new house. Kinda makes me wanna cry.
8.13.09
This post, by our very own Cousin Cate, is exactly why I wanted her to start blogging. Wait, I think I’ve said that before, now haven’t I?
8.4.09
This very post is exactly why I’ve been wanting Cate to begin blogging.

I loved Leslie Ruth’s take on the Jon and Kate + Eight situation. Heartbreaking, indeed.
5.21.09
Can I have this? Please?
5.15.09
Is it bad that I wish I were still a kid just so I could play with this?
4.18.09
Sweet, darling blog-reader Chelsey is getting married today. I’m so excited for her!
4.15.09
I’ve mentioned how much I love Erin Condren’s designs before, but now she has a blog!
3.19.09
I’m fully aware you’ll probably make fun of me, but I can’t tell you how badly I would love to have one of these darling things — actually, three of them– lined up on my kitchen counter.
3.18.09
This family — mom Karen is a blog reader here at MinSoFab — is so on my heart right now.
3.10.09
God has been speaking to me lately about having a grateful heart even in the middle of pain or suffering in my life. When I read this post, from a sweet mama who recently lost her baby girl, I couldn’t help but think of what an example she is setting of a grateful heart.
3.9.09
I’m not a big fan of Barbie’s influence on kids, but I’d like to be at this party just to see all the pinkness that’s involved. I’m a fan of things pink, in case you haven’t noticed yet.
2.17.09
I’ve had several Australian readers email me to ask if we’d be praying for them as wildfires continue to spread. You’ve got it, girlfriends.
1.20.09
There’s a special project for a very special family going on right here.
1.14.09
So, I’m sure I’m the last person to find Bakerella but? Hello? I WANT TO BE HER.
1.3.09
Loved. Made me think for a long, long time.
1.1.09
After far too long of a delay, I’m back with more linky love. Right now, I’m loving this raincoat from Old Navy. I have the perfect pair of wellies to match, too!

Attention all Starlite office volunteers: Please do not be surprised if you come into my office and find my mouse resting on one of these. Plus, I’ll write you little notes on it. WIN-WIN SITUATION!
7.26.08
Blink. Otherwise known as the best blog post I’ve ever read.
7.24.08
Sweet Kelly needs our prayers for her baby girl.
6.27.08
There are no words to describe how much I wish I could be a child again and have this to play with all day, every day.
6.18.08
I cried so hard when I watched this video. Go now.
6.17.08
Know what your kids are listening to these days? Be sure it isn’t this.
6.10.08
Lately I’ve been thinking about how we need to bring more excellence to Starlite. This only confirmed some of things I’ve been considering.
6.9.08
I’ve always said that, when I find Mr. Right, I’ll know he’s the Real Deal if he promises that we can have all pink kitchen accessories. You think I’m joking, but I’m not. At all. But until he shows up, I might settle for Mr. Right Now (aka a pink cupcake carrier).
5.29.08
This guy wrote a song called Internet Juliet about meeting his wife online. And I almost passed out from laughing so hard the first 8 times I listened to it.
5.26.08
Surely, after this post, you knew I’d give you a link to my favorite website ever.
5.15.08
My real-life friend, Jennifer, makes some of the cutest custom hair bows I have ever seen. I’ve been planning to order some for my MacKenzie, and after seeing her latest creations, I’m going to get right on that.
5.13.08
These are my favorite pair of black pumps. My bff has them, too. So does a girl on Starlite’s leadership team. Actually, several girls on our leadership team. In other words, GET YOURSELF SOME OF THESE.
5.11.08
“This place is not forever.” Explained beautifully here.
5.8.08
I get a lot of emails from stay at home mothers asking me what they can do to minister to someone other than their own kids. If we could get the stay at home mothers in our town to do what this post suggests, we probably wouldn’t serve as many broken girls as we do.
5.6.08
Even though I can’t cook, is it okay for me to wear this? Please? Pretty please?
5.1.08
Five pages of wellies. What isn’t there to love?
4.28.08
If I had my way, we’d use these to label everything in the Starlite office. And I do mean everything.
4.24.08
Occasionally I’ll see something that we Just Have To Have For The Starlite Office. But in reality, um, we don’t need it and therefore can’t justify spending money on it. This would be one of those things. Maybe it’ll be my present to the Starlite office for her next birthday. Or, you know, holiday. Or just because it is Thursday. Yeah, that works.
4.13.08
After spending several years searching for a good web design company, we finally found Innovative Impulses. They’re currently designing a brand new website for Starlite that will be live by the end of April. If you’re looking for website design, trust us — you’ll love them.
1.6.08
I’m currently loving Erin Condren’s designs, especially her graduation thank you cards. One of my sweet high school girls, who brought flowers the day I graduated, told me she positively screamed with excitement when she opened her card. Just another reminder that there aren’t too many differences between me and the girls I serve.
